At Tech for Equity (an Eternitech venture), we treat startup ideas, pitch decks, and technical architecture specifications with institutional confidentiality. We never sell founder information, we never share proprietary trade secrets, and we deploy bank-grade encryption across all digital touchpoints.
1. Information Collection & Source Disclosures
When evaluating early-stage ventures for technical equity partnerships, we collect only information necessary to assess technical feasibility, founder compatibility, and commercial potential:
Pitch Submissions
Founder names, email addresses, phone numbers, startup executive summaries, pitch decks, cap table outlines, and product roadmaps provided voluntarily.
Technical Materials
GitHub repository links, API documentation, Figma design files, and system schemas shared during technical diligence reviews.
2. Founder Idea & IP Confidentiality
We recognize that early-stage product concepts represent the core lifeblood of startup founders. We maintain strict internal protocols to ensure confidentiality:
- Confidential materials are restricted exclusively to senior review partners and technical architects under binding NDA agreements.
- We do not disclose your venture's proprietary designs, business models, or trade secrets to external third parties or portfolio ventures.
- Upon written request, any unexecuted pitch deck, documentation, or design files will be securely purged from our active evaluation databases.
3. Telemetry, Analytics & Cookies
We utilize minimal telemetry to measure website performance, diagnose front-end errors, and prevent fraudulent form abuse:
Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required to maintain secure browsing sessions, verify CSRF tokens, and remember cookie consent states.
Diagnostic & Performance Telemetry: Anonymized usage data collected via Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity to track page latency, broken links, and UX friction.
No Behavioral Ad Tracking: We do not deploy third-party advertising retargeting pixels (e.g. Meta, TikTok, or Twitter ad pixels) on our portal.
4. European Union & UK Data Subject Rights (GDPR)
For founders located within the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, we process personal data under lawful bases including legitimate interest in evaluating venture partnerships and contract fulfillment:

In compliance with California consumer privacy statutes:
- We do not sell personal information or pitch disclosures to brokers or data aggregators.
- We do not share personal details for cross-context behavioral advertising campaigns.

- We will never discriminate or penalize any founder who exercises their statutory privacy rights.
6. Data Retention & Information Security Standards
We apply rigorous encryption standards across all digital systems. All traffic is enforced over TLS 1.3 encryption. Pitch decks and founder intake documents are housed in encrypted storage buckets with role-based access control. Unsuccessful partnership applications are securely archived or purged within twelve months of final communication.
